Software Engineer II, Backend (Decisions Orchestration)

<p>We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build out financial products and features providing new levels of accessibility and flexibility to our users. You will work in a fast-paced team environment, designing and implementing new API’s and microservices interfaces to manage every users’ transaction with Affirm. You will also use your technical skillset to find opportunities to improve the performance and reliability of the systems that drive the user journey through purchasing with Affirm.</p>

<p>Work with technical leaders in the team to design and implement insightful forward-looking approaches that go beyond the direct team and solve large open-ended problems</p>

<p>Actively own components of checkout systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of surrounding systems</p>

<p>We’re excited to announce that Affirm is now a remote-first company! This role can be located anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of Quebec). Remote based employees may occasionally travel to an Affirm office for meetings or team building events. <p>Employees new to Affirm <em>typically come in at the start of the pay range</em>. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.</p>

<p>Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)</p>
