Our partner is a fast-growing, Series A AI company backed by top-tier investors, automating end-to-end insurance claims processing for the largest carriers. Revenue has grown roughly 50% month over month, the team has scaled to around 70 people, and it is on track to more than double by year end. Engineering is Python-heavy and deeply agentic. The culture is fast, feedback-rich, low on bureaucracy, and fully in-person.

The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering and the customer. You will build real product while working directly with enterprise clients, roughly 70% deep technical work and 30% client-facing communication. You will own problems end to end in an environment where you rarely have all the data, and where agency and ownership are prized above process.

Responsibilities

Build and ship backend systems in a Python-heavy, agentic codebase

Work directly with enterprise clients to deploy and tailor solutions

Translate ambiguous customer needs into working software

Operate with high autonomy and ownership under fast deadlines

Requirements

1-7 years of software engineering experience

Strong Python and backend fundamentals

Excellent communication; comfortable meeting and working with clients

Founding or early-stage startup experience preferred

Ability to operate in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
