About the Company

Our partner builds a payroll and back-office suite for startups, helping founders run the operational side of their companies. They are a Series A company with a team of roughly 40-45 people, based in New York and growing quickly.

The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring a Head of Demand Generation in a player-coach seat. You will personally run paid, SEO, email, and lifecycle today, then build the team as the company scales. You will own marketing-sourced pipeline with a mandate to deliver 3-4x coverage on the bookings target.

You will partner with the COO on brand and the Head of Sales on conversion, marketing to founders, finance buyers, and people-and-ops buyers.

Responsibilities

Own inbound demand generation across paid, SEO, email, and lifecycle, hands-on

Deliver marketing-sourced pipeline against a 3-4x bookings coverage target

Grow MQL volume and quality, site traffic and conversion, and organic search

Manage paid spend efficiently against CAC and ROAS goals

Partner with the COO on brand and the Head of Sales on pipeline conversion

Hire and build the demand generation team as the company scales

Requirements

6+ years in demand generation or growth marketing at B2B sales-led SaaS companies

Inbound programs that produced measurable pipeline, not just traffic

Strong writing for a business audience

Funnel thinking: spend to pipeline to revenue

Comfortable as a player-coach who still runs channels hands-on

Excitement about working in person in New York five days per week

Bonus: fintech, HR tech, or developer-adjacent background
