<p id="p-rc_a0791073b2b1b26d-71" data-path-to-node="1"><span class="">As a Strategic Sourcing </span><span class="citation-4480 citation-4481 citation-4482 citation-end-4482">Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating with various vendors, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on business objectives fo</span><span class="citation-4480 citation-4481 citation-end-4481">r the Spend Money Wisely team (Verkada’s take on Strategic Sourcing). Your primary focus will involve negotiating strategic deals</span><span class="citation-4480 citation-end-4480">, optimizing the technology portfolio through vendor consolidation opportunities, and providing strategic guidance to functional partners in balancing new features, seat/usage</span> expansion, and rip-n-replace initiatives. You will lead sourcing initiatives, manage vendor relationships, work closely with Legal, Security, and Finance teams, and ensure cost efficiency and value optimization across Verkada’s spend portfolio. A key focus will be to create and deliver category strategies. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.</p>

<h3><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h3>

<p>At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)</p>
